BRIEF JOB OVERVIEW:

The Economic Development Department is seeking an innovative professional to lead business recruitment efforts among other organizational initiatives. The strategic leader will be responsible for creating new jobs within the city from both new-to-market and existing businesses, growing the City’s tax base and growing and supporting the local business community. This position will also play an influential role within the department and lend industry expertise in business recruitment, talent development, incentives, and real estate to the team on department-wide initiatives. A qualified leader and strong, creative project manager will demonstrate their ability to develop customized solutions for clients, and the ability to deliver them with a high level of client service. This position will report directly to the Deputy Director of Economic Development.
