Position: Economic Development Coordinator
SUMMARY:

The Economic Development Coordinator is an operations and project-based role that blends marketing, communications, and community engagement to support the long-term vision of HCPED.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate marketing including website, collateral, and Portal.
• Oversee administrative functions, including database management, invoicing, and meeting minutes.
• Oversee Membership and resource development.
• Support strategic projects and research across all program areas.
• Coordinate logistics, resources, and vendor engagement for community and partner events.
• Adapt to various priorities in support of a dynamic organization.
Ideal Candidate:
• Flexible, curious, and passionate about community development.
• Strong writer and organizer; capable of juggling multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of economic development, nonprofit work, or public-sector project management.
• Comfort with communication platforms and Microsoft.
• Eager to learn about Henderson County’s manufacturing growth.

Salary Range:
$50,000–$65,000 based on experience. Work Type: Full-time preferred (flexibility for part-time); some after-hours event support.
