Serve on a committee
NCEDA committees examine issues such as legislation, conference
planning, scholarships, professional development and membership.
Lead the association
A 13-member board of directors governs NCEDA. Members at the
Annual Conference in June elect four officers (president,
vice president, secretary/treasurer and immediate past president)
and nine members to serve on the board.
The active past presidents of NCEDA constitute the nominating
committee. It is chaired by the immediate past president.
Members interested in board service should contact one of
the past presidents. A slate of nominees is introduced at
the annual meeting each June for association approval.
Become a sponsor
NCEDA Patron and event sponsors help reduce the association's
costs, keeping programs and services affordable for members.
Benefits for sponsors include visibility in NCEDA's
printed and Web directories and ads next to all their members.
Support NCEDA's legislative activities
NCEDA's Legislative Committee monitors state policies
and regulation and advocates for changes that keep the state
economically competitive.
