Professional Development Committee
George Sharpe, Michael Smith & Michael Trotter: Co-Chairs
This committee is responsible for networking luncheons, professional development seminars and the NCEDA awards programs, and recommends how to make the awards and scholarships more productive and useful to members.
Membership Committee
Len Kulik & Mike Wilkins: Co-Chairs
This committee handles member recruitment, member retention, membership surveys, the NCEDA Web site and NCEDA marketing materials. It surveys membership to assess their satisfaction with programs and economic development issues.
2008 Fall Conference Committee
Joanna Thompson: Chair
This committee chooses the theme of the 2008 Fall Conference, establishes the program, solicits sponsorships and works with the NCEDA office to arrange logistics.

Legislative Committee
Bonnie Renfro & Linda Weiner: Co-Chairs
This committee is responsible for the association's legislative agenda, legislative updates, legislative calls to action and the 2007 legislative reception.
